“ . . . the most important fact about my dress is that my Mother made it! She is a skilled seamstress and does beautiful needlework. The sleeves and train were all handrolled and stitched from gossamer silk chiffon. I remember that dress and that day with great fondness. ... the magnificent architecture, the sounds of the venerable organ and a most excellent bridegroom who has continued to be a most excellent husband!” -
