“Although we both live in Toronto, my parents were keen on having the wedding at home in Pakistan so as to grant my nani's perennial wish of seeing a grandchild get married. My gorgeous husband Noorez and I tied the knot on March 7, 2013, in a beautiful 4-day wedding in Karachi. I slept for about a week afterwards.” - Iman Sheikh (Vassar class of 2003)

For the wedding, Ms. Sheikh (Vassar class of 2003) wore a hand-worked gold lamé sari by Bunto Kazmi, a Pakistani couture bridal designer, with traditional Indian hand-crafted 'kundan' jewelry. Her husband Noorez wore a Dolce & Gabana tuxedo.
