“The wedding, held in an Episcopal church in Fairfield, CT, was very traditional with bridesmaids and ushers, followed by a reception at the hunt club. It was very similar to the weddings of my friends, Vassar and others.” - Karin Chapman Bond (Vassar class of 1953)

“We were married in a function room of the Taft Hotel in New Haven, CT, by the Cantor of the local Reform Temple. We met as graduate students at Yale, Fred in Political Science and I in English. The wedding was small (close family and a handful of friends) about 30 people in all.” - Barbara E. Greenstein (Vassar class of 1953)

"The dress was a dream dress for me,  but  very expensive.  I talked myself into the exorbitant price by being convinced that I could take the top off and wear it again!  Recently my son saw this picture and asked me what it felt like to be a princess.  I of course, have never worn the dress again but that comment reminds me that it was worth every penny." - Cynthia Patton (Vassar class of 1983)
