Drew Minter (Lecturer of Music) married Jim Ruff on May 12, 2012, with an Episcopal wedding service at the church where Jim is the Director of Music. Their ceremony included “lots and lots of music,” including 3 choirs. When it was declared that they were married, the applause and screams lasted for about three minutes.

Jim’s Highland kilt was purchased in 2009 as a part of his interest in Gaelic culture, connecting with his Scottish ancestors. Drew chose an Armani suit to reflect his interest in Italy.

“We put it together, together . . . After being together for so long, feeling love and support and blessing from all the people that were there as well as from the clergy . . . feel cradled by that.” - Jim Ruff, husband of Drew Minter (Lecturer of Music)
