Description: Teal green dress with cream lace collar and long pleats from neck to hem at back.; teal green cotton; possibly linen lining; cream lace; blue grosgrain ribbon; blue velvet; metal hooks and eyes , possibly s-curve Edwardian silhouette with full skirt; teal green cotton with twill weave; cream lace neck piece in the front that is a collar in the back; full length mutton sleeves; blue ribbon makes a square neckline that continues the square on the back of the dress; ribbon at the waist making a rectangle; ribbon also lines the bottom of the sleeves and has three strips that go around the bottom of the dress; there is room for a bustle in the back; cotton plain weave lining.

Exhibition Notes
While this dress was catalogued by students, and a condition report was made for it, it was not extensively researched. However, several details of the dress show the influence of Aesthetic or Artistic Dress and the Dress Reform movement, so it fits well into the story told by the research of Julia Fields, Anne Silk, and Emily Leimkuhler for other nearby objects. Perhaps another student will research it more thoroughly for a future project.
