Condition Description
There are multiple holes in the dress, such as large holes in the shoulders and some on the netting. Some of the holes in the netting have been patched. The ends of the sleeves are fraying, and the light grey jacquard fabric which was not part of the original dress, is fraying at the bottom. There is dirt on the belt. The mesh is tearing where it connects with the bodice. There is tulle at the back of the bodice near the top which was added at a later date, likely at the time the light grey jacquard was added.
Mold on the bodice and sash of the dress was vacuumed on 2012-12-12 by Alexandra Figler and Emily Selter. Most of it was removed successfully.
Tears, holes, fraying, loose parts, missing parts, restyling, wrinkles, stains, surface dirt, mold/mildew.
