Black silk crepe, black silk lining, black cotton net, black silk embroidery, tan cotton lace, tan cotton netting, metal hooks, bars, and eyes, boning, silk tassels remnants of dark brown gauzeII. Natural waisted, high-collared, drop-armscyed bodiceIII. Tan net high-neck collar with pin-tuck detailing, trimmed in tan lace and boned throughout, tan pin-tucked net forms trapezoidal chest piece; two large panels of silk embroidery on black net comem from over shoulder to form low v in front, trimmed with three silk tassels in the center and one on either shoulder, lace falls down over dropped shoulder; dropped armscye shirred outside of 3/4 sleeve, trimmed in black silk lace and tan net and lace; silk of bodice gathered into pleats at center front waist; lace panels continue down on the back side to form an identical v-shape; back neck mimics the front with a similar trapezoidal panel of netting; opens down center back with a row of hook and eyes; silk gathered into pleats at center back waist; silk waistband; boning throughout bodice; two eyes on either inside sideseam; netting on inside perhaps former lining - now cut or worn away, still visible at waist seam and center back seams
