Description: Dress of cream silk with net and lace; bodice of cream cotton net with a draped overlay of lace; six small decorative rhinestones down center front of bodice; cream silk satin embellishment at center front above waist with two small rhinestone buckles; short sleeves with two tiers of lace; high, round neckline with thin silk satin piping; metal snaps at center back of bodice; silk satin sash around natural waist with one end hanging straight to about thigh length at center back; ankle length silk satin skirt with seamed silk satin wrap-style tunic overskirt; the tunic overskirt is hemmed with bugle beads, bugle beads also present on the tunic overskirt going from the waist to the hem following the edge of the wrapped material.

On November 23, 1913, Beulah May Christ married Lyman Hummel in Ravine, Pennsylvania. Miss Christ was the grandmother of Holly Hummel, Vassar College Drama Department costume designer and faculty member emerita, and founder of the Vassar College Costume Collection.
